Is this scholarship right for me?
This scholarship is open to all graduating high school students across Canada, and to graduation CEGEP students from Quebec preferably those entering a recognized degree program in history. Note: employees of the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation and their members are not eligible for this award.
Requirements:
Students are required to submit the following:
· 2 copies of an essay of 1500-2000 words on the topic chosen by the Canadian War Museum. E.g. what was the most important battle or military engagement in Canadian Military? (Note: The topic may be subject to change from year to year, please review the most recent application material for any changes)
· A confidential letter of reference from a history teacher from the applicants material for any changes)
· The applicant’s transcript/academic record
· Candidates must also completely fill out and submit an application available on the web.
Note: DO NOT include extra materials and DO NOT fax or e-mail applications. If applicants have additional inquiries regarding this award they must ask their teacher to make the inquiry for them.
Deadline: Postmarked no later than March
