Is this scholarship right for me?
This scholarship is open to any student who is Vietnam Veteran, spouse or child of a Vietnam Veteran, or a refugee from Cambodia, Laos, or Vietnam during the 1964-75 time-frame. The Angelfire Scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who plan to attend or who are currently attending a Databel Client college or University, or who work at a Databel non-education client site and will attend any college or university during the upcoming academic year. Note: Award amount depends on the tuition costs of the university or college that applicant plans to attend.
Applicants are required to submit the following:
· A list of achievements, up to 75 words describing each
· A personal statement essay discussing how the Vietnam War has affected them personally, how it has impacted their educational goals, and how being awarded an Angelfire scholarship will help them achieve their goals.
· An official transcript
· Two letters of recommendation from the staff members at the Databel client institution in which the applicant is currently enrolled.
