Is this scholarship right for me?

 

This scholarship is intended to provide finical assistance to first nation status, non- status, Inuit, and Metis who have chosen to purse post secondary studies in visual, performing, media, graphic, and literary arts. All program including private, and group instruction are eligible. Undergraduate programs taken outside of Canada, and programs that are not directed towards a specific career are NOT eligible.

 

Requirements:

 

Applicants are required to submit the following:

·        A completed application from

·        Proof of aboriginal ancestry

·        Proof of enrolment, or acceptance in their program or internship

·        Most recent semester transcript

·        Two current letter of support of your application from faculty or other professionals who are familiar with their work

·        A resume or CV and recent photo of themselves

·        A letter of personal introduction to the jury describing what they hope to achieve from this training and what it means to them personally

·        Work samples

 

Deadlines:     March 31, 2002 for projects beginning after June 1, 2002,

September 30, 2002, for projects beginning after December 1, 2002
