Is this scholarship for me?

 

This scholarship is open to all students enrolled in a post secondary institution that is a member of the Association of Colleges and Universities of Canada, without restriction save and expect an academic standard.  This award is based on financial need.

 

Requirements:

 

Students must be enrolled in their first undergraduate program as full time student

Preference is given to students whose parents meet certain qualifications.  E.g. Children of ordained clergy are given preference.

Students granted the Leonard Award are expected to retain employment during the school year to defray costs.  Recipients are also expected to participate in extracurricular activities.

Financial need must be demonstrated.  Applicants who still with families whose total gross income exceeds $40,000., will not likely be considered.

Students must complete the application form and may only submit an application form through a nominator.  For more information, and for a list of nominators, please visit the Leonard Foundation web site listed above.
