Is this scholarship right for me?

This scholarship is intended to aid students, who have physical disabilities, to study full time in recognized Ontario post-secondary institution.  This award is given to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, motivation, and initiative.  A disability is considered any major, long-term impairment that severely restricts activities.  Application must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents; they must of Ontario for at least one full year preceding registration in a post-secondary program, graduating from high school and entering their first year of post-secondary school.

 

Requirements:

 

Applicants are required to submit the following:

·        A photocopy of proof of citizenship

·        A photocopy of social insurance card

·        An official transcript

·        A letter outlining their qualifications for the award

·        Three references, one from an academic referee, one from an individual who is familiar with the applicant’s extracurricular activities, and an assessment from their medical doctor
