Is this scholarship right for me?
The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage disabled students to pursue university degrees. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents residing in Canada for at least two years. They must be enrolled in their first undergraduate degree program in any Canadian degree granting institution. They must also demonstrate a “functional limitation” as defined on the application form.
Requirements:
Applicants are required to submit the following:
· A completed application form (available on the web or form the AUCC).
· Two letters of reference, one from a teacher and other from someone, other than a relative who has known the applicant for at least one year.
· A completed medical questionnaire.
· Short 200 word essay outlining extra curricular activities and interests.
· An official transcript.
