Is this scholarship right for me?

This award is open to student science writers who are Canadian citizens, and who have had a science related article published in a newspaper, magazine or aired on radio or television.

Requirements:

Students have to have had a science related article published in a newspaper, magazine, or broadcasted on radio or television. These must be a minimum of 500 words, and four copies must be submitted, one copy exactly as it appeared in the publication, and three others on 8 ½ x 11 inch, white paper, numbered consecutively. They are vital to understanding of the article, photos, and graphics should be omitted from these copies. If submitting an audio or videocassette 3 copies must be submitted with a completed entry form attached to each one

Note: Each article in a series or sidebars running concurrently or each portion of a series broadcasted over several days may be entered as a separate item. 

Entries will be judged based on presentation and clarity, effort committed to the creation/publication of the entry, the relevance of subject matter, and creativity. For more information on the judging criteria and proper packaging instructions please visit the CCTT web site listed above.
