Is this scholarship right for me?

Applicants must demonstrate an interest in their preferred field of study, leadership skills, academic ability, and a record of community or school service. They must be residents of BC, AL, MA, ON, NB, NS or PEI. They must be in their final year of high school with an academic average of %75 or higher, or adults in the work force entering their first year of collage. Applicants must also be entering a two to three year program at any accredited community college and must not be collage or university graduates in the last three years.

Requirements:

Applicants are required to submit the following:

· A completed application (available on the GWMSC web sit e, or in their high school guidance department) and a photocopy of that application.

· An original and a photocopy of their official transcript.

· A self addressed, stamped envelope.

· Finalists will be required to attend interviews in Toronto (GWMSC will cover travel expenses up to $100. And will assist with billeting)

Note: The GWMSC also grants awards at the regional level (30 awards of $1,500.ea) and at the provincial level (25 awards at $1,000.ea).
