Is This Scholarship for me?
The purpose of this scholarship is to allow principals the opportunity to recognize one of their students leaders. The scholarship is designed to provide the broadest base upon which to evaluate possible candidates. Nominees should be in top 20% of their class, and nominations should not be based on need. Only one nominee per school is permitted, and nominee must be graduating year of high school.
Requirements:
Applicants are required to complete and submit the following:
· A questionnaire marked out of 100 points.
1. Leadership in school actives (1-25 points)
2. Leadership in community (1-25 points)
3. Academic achievement (1-20 points)
5. Recognition, awards, honors, and scholarships(1-10 points)
· An official secondary school transcript.
· All application packages must be sent to the program’s Provincial affiliate address (see web site)
· Recommendation from a school counselor, teacher or students council advisor who knows the students well as a recommendation from the student’s principal.
