Is this scholarship right for me?

This scholarship is awarded annually to a recreational or environmental studies student enrolled in a Canadian collage undergraduate program. Applicants must be Canadian citizens with a academic standing of B+ (75%) or higher

Requirements

Applicants are required to submit the following:

·        A copy of their birth certificate

·        An official transcript

·        An outline of their career plans, these must be related to outdoor educational studies (provide information on past involvement and leadership within the environmental/ outdoor recreation field)

·        A list of courses that the applicant is currently involved in or ones that have already been take, (including a course description).

·        A brief statement of philosophy (not exceeding 600 words) regarding their beliefs in reference to the environment and outdoor education and how it pertains to the ethics of land and water.

·        A brief (100 word maximum) one-paragraph statement describing their knowledge of the late Bill Mason.

·        Background in canoeing/kayaking is considered an asset (please provide a resume of past involvement).
