our CultureFest Executive Team below for this year!
Chairs
These individuals are responsible for overseeing the functions of
the 36 person executive team. They will ensure that meetings of other
executive members are conducted in an orderly fashion and function as
representatives for the event to the corporate community, in conjunction
with the External Affairs team.

Deputy Chairs
The deputy chairs have been selected for their well-rounded abilities
and individual creativity. Also coined chairs-in-training, these individuals
will progress to fill the Chairperson roles next year and help bring
about a successful CultureFest 2011.
Secretaries
The secretaries for CultureFest 2011 must exhibit an immense organizational
ability as well as reliability. The following individuals have been
chosen for this role because of their track record from previous executive
teams and we hope they will work just as hard for CultureFest 2011.
Pavilion Heads
The pavilion heads have a major responsibility as they will make sure
that their respective pavilion is ready for the show in April. By adding
their own ideas and personal flair, they will make sure that each pavilion
dazzles the audience with displays of artwork, music and dance.

Financial Officers
These individuals are responsible for handling the finances and expense
of CultureFest 2011. Such a large event involves accordingly large expenses.
As such, both of the financial officers are up to tackling the large
task and making sure that CultureFest 2011 is financially sound.
External Affairs
To fill such a role requires individuals that are both enthusastic yet
professional in their presentation. The following three individuals
will ensure that CultureFest 2011 receives adequate funding and recognition
from the corporate community.
Directors of Food
The directors of food have decided to undertake the task of presenting
the ethnic cuisine during the two-day event. From sushi from the Pacific
Rim, to traditional Mexican quesidillas from North America, the directors
of food have made sure that the cuisine presented will be as memorable
as the show.
Internal Marketing
The individuals selected for this role need to be outgoing and creative.
The selected individuals have ensured they will use their creative abilities
and talents to ensure all of Turner Fenton Secondary School is aware
of CultureFest 2011 and that the whole school gets in the spirit of
CultureFest.
Officers of North Hall Activities
An essental aspect of CultureFest are the booths for each pavilion that
are set-up in North Cafeteria during the course of the two-day event.
Both officers will make sure that each booth is a creative and interactive
symbol of each pavilion and its' representative culture.
A.V. Directors
The A.V. directors are responsible for making sure that CultureFest
2011 is technically sound. CultureFest 2011 is all about pushing boundaries,
trying new things and displaying aspects of cultures never displayed
before. The selected A.V. directors have ensured that they are up to
the task of delivering these new presentation ideas.
